The Hypnotist Who Brings People Together
I started my career as a high school English teacher because I valued education and wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. But while I enjoyed teaching, something was missing—it didn’t bring me the fulfillment I craved. I wanted to do more than just teach lessons; I wanted to create experiences that truly impacted people.
That search for greater impact led me to the University of New Hampshire, where I spent five years as a residence hall director, helping young adults develop and grow. One of my responsibilities was organizing social and educational programs, and every year I brought in a retired hypnotist to do a live demonstration.
I was fascinated—not just by the entertainment value of hypnosis, but by its potential to change lives. After one of his shows, I told him how much I enjoyed it, and he made me an offer that changed everything: “Let me teach you. I think you’d be good at it.”
That moment set me on a path that would redefine my career. I became certified as a hypnotist, and in 2004, I opened my own practice. In the beginning, I did everything—working with clients, performing stage shows, and even creating hypnosis audio programs. But over time, I realized that entertainment hypnosis was where I could make the biggest impact.
Hypnosis, at its core, is about unlocking human potential. Yes, it makes people laugh and creates unforgettable moments, but it also leaves them thinking, questioning, and sometimes even taking action to improve their own lives.
Unlike other forms of entertainment, where the performer is the star, my goal is different. When I do my job well, I fade into the background and let the volunteers shine. I take total strangers and turn them into a cast of characters—a high-energy, spontaneous improv troupe fueled by the power of their own imagination.
And now, after 20 years and over 30,000 people hypnotized, I’ve created my most ambitious show yet:
“Mind Games: Music is Hypnotic.”
This show isn’t just about laughter—it’s about connection. Music is one of the great universal human experiences. No matter who you are, music has shaped your life in some way. And when people are in a hypnotic state, free from stress and distraction, they can tap into their creativity, their joy, and their shared humanity.
At its best, entertainment doesn’t just make people laugh—it brings them together. That’s what I strive to do every time I step on stage.
Core Values
✅ Entertainment With Purpose
Laughter is great—but true entertainment leaves an impact. My goal is to create shows that go beyond humor, making people think and feel in new ways.
✅ The Audience is the Star
I’m not here to be the center of attention. My job is to guide, empower, and highlight the people on stage, turning everyday volunteers into the most engaging performers of the night.
✅ Connection Through Experience
Hypnosis, like music, is a shared experience. It has the power to break down barriers, bring people together, and remind us of what we have in common.
✅ Unlocking Human Potential
In a hypnotic state, people let go of doubt, stress, and hesitation. For a moment, they step into a version of themselves that is freer, more creative, and more confident. That’s the magic I want to share.
